Often times, a tip or emergency message will involve other individuals, departments, or offices within your organization. You can easily forward these events to those people, regardless of their dashboard admin privileges. To forward an event via Email:
- Select the event to be forwarded by clicking on the event card in the Live Safety Events Feed.
- Under the Tip Details tab, click the white “Forward Tip” button.
- A dialogue box will appear. Select the name of the individual(s) to notify from the list of dashboard admins or type the email address(es) in manually. Click “Send”. This user will receive an email with basic event information. If he or she has access to the dashboard, they will also receive a link to login for more information.
You can send to distribution email groups or listservs to inform multiple people at once.
Note: If you need to forward an event to someone else within the organization, you will be able to select any admin who has access to the dashboard you are currently in. However, you can enter in an email address for anyone - regardless of dashboard access or privileges - in the “Additional Emails” text box.
