Utilizing the Live Chat feature, immediately to the right of the LiveSafe Events Feed, and on the left side of the Event Details page, is the quickest and most efficient way to follow up on a new event. Responding and acknowledging receipt of a new tip is an instrumental part of ensuring continued communication with your app users. By utilizing the chat feature, you can ask the same questions and gather the same, if not more, information that you would if someone were to call in with the information.
As a best practice, we recommend thanking the user for submitting a tip, ask for additional information if needed, and conclude the chat session with your organization’s policy statement, if applicable.
