When a LiveSafe app user contacts your Safety Department via one of the “Emergency Options” (either “Call Organization Safety” or “Message Organization Safety”) then an event will appear in the Live Safety Events Feed, flashing red. If the app user has enabled location services, both emergency calling and messaging will initiate location sharing (which the app user can disable at any time). If location services is not enabled by the app user, their location will not be revealed. Due to customizations performed for your particular organization, language within the app may differ (i.e. “call corporate security” or “message campus police”).
