Your LiveSafe user database is composed of app users, dashboard administrators, and contact-only users.
App User - A user who has the mobile app installed on their device and is subscribed to your community. These users can submit tips, emergency messages, and receive broadcast/check in messages via each of the communication methods they have included in their profile. App users will be listed in the user section of the dashboard but will have no privileges checked under the privileges tab.
Dashboard Administrator - A user who has been granted specific, individual access to the LiveSafe Command Dashboard by an administrator with the “Add/Edit Users” privilege.
Contact-Only User - This user does not have the mobile app installed on their phone but has contact information that has been added in the list of users in the dashboard — either because it was manually entered or your organization uses one of the Automated User Management integration tools available with LiveSafe. Adding a contact-only user allows your organization to contact that user via SMS or email notification. This can be used for those who cannot download the LiveSafe Mobile App on their phone (e.g. non-iOS or Android devices). Contact-only devices must be capable of receiving the contact method listed. Landline phone numbers cannot accept SMS text messages and should not be added to the dashboard.
