You can easily manage who has access to your organization’s Command Dashboard — that is, your dashboard administrators — as well as the privileges each one has. Review the list of available privileges below.
Privilege 1 - The “Add/Edit Users” privilege allows the dashboard admin to edit existing user profile details as well as add, remove, and grant privileges to other members within the organization.
Privilege 2 - The “Log in to Dashboard” privilege grants access to your Command Dashboard. This option is necessary to access the dashboard and will prompt the admin to setup a password for their account.
Privilege 3 - The “Create/Send Broadcasts | Add/Edit Groups | Add/Edit Standard Geofences” privilege allows the dashboard admin to send broadcast and check-in messages to the communities they have access to within the dashboard. Users with this privilege can also add/edit groups in the Groups tab as well as add/edit Standard Geofences on the Events Map. This grouping of privileges is ideal for the intermediate user of the dashboard who will be responsible for sending out broadcast and check-in messages.
Privilege 4 - Personnel with the “Receive new event emails” privilege will receive an email notification every time a new tip, or event, comes into the Dashboard. This includes tips, calls, emergency messages, and emergency (911) calls.
Privilege 5 - The “Add/Edit Standard & Community Geofences | Add/Edit Map Places” privilege allows the dashboard admin to add/edit standard and Community geofences on the Events Map, as well as delete them if needed. Because some geofences have system configurations associated with them, this privilege should be reserved for primary LiveSafe project managers and advanced users of the system. This privilege also grants dashboard admins the ability to add places to the map.
