Location data from users that have responded to check-in messages can be leveraged to allow you to better determine areas of concern and to know where help is needed. When a user responds to a check-in message, as long as they have location services enabled on their device, the dashboard will record their location on the map. You can view these locations by following these instructions:
- Click the Broadcast Message tab in the right-side navigation.
- Click on the desired check-in message.
- Below the Check-in Summary, click the “View Responses” button.
- This window will contain the response summaries. The report includes location data for those individuals that checked in either “I’m Ok” (green dots) or “I Need Help” (red dots).
Users who have not responded will not show up on the map, but you can see the list of No Response by using the tabs above the search bar. You can also use the search bar to search for specific individual users. Click the names of the users to get their contact information.
As a reminder, the map and responses are not updated automatically, so you'll need to refresh the screen by clicking the refresh button at the bottom of the check-in response screen.
IMPORTANT PRIVACY NOTICE: The user locations provided are not active locations. The locations on the map indicate where the person was when they responded. You will not have location data for those that did not respond and/or have not enabled their device’s location services.
