Sometimes, when sending broadcast and check-in messages, you don’t want to message your entire organization. Instead, you only want to reach specific subsets of your organization, such as security teams and executives. When applied in the process of creating broadcast and check-in messages, the Groups feature filters out those who are not part of the pre-created grouping. This helps ensure that the right information gets to the right people.
Here are a few examples of groups:
Example 1: Security Team
Grouping your security team by their patrol area or their specific rotation helps ensure that the correct team is notified of applicable incidents.
Example 2: Executive Leadership
Consider creating groups for the different leadership teams across your organization, which can be especially useful when it comes to coordinating executive protection detail, forwarding reports, and getting approval for broadcast and check-in messages.
Example 3: Specific Buildings and Offices
Create location-based groups such as buildings and offices. This way, even if a user is not physically located at the building or office at the time of your message, they will still receive a notification.
LiveSafe supports creating groups that reflect the unique structure and needs of your organization. Groups can be created manually, or off of Active User Management or Active Directory.
