LiveSafe is a safety app, and individuals are already conscious about their smartphone location sharing settings. It is no surprise that LiveSafe users are particularly concerned about how the app is monitoring their location.
Use this graphic and language as templates to help reassure your population of their privacy, and to help build trust in the LiveSafe system. A downloadable (PowerPoint) version is available here. Please customize and share with your community.
You are also encouraged to use the language as a basis for your own communications about LiveSafe. Include in Broadcast Messages, on organization signage, internal communications, public safety websites, and more:
LiveSafe Privacy & Location Sharing
LiveSafe does not track your location without your permission. Individuals have full control of their location sharing settings.
When location services are permitted, users only send their location when they submit a tip, respond to a Broadcast Check-in, or send emergency communications. The purpose of enabling location services is to provide assistance to you as quickly as possible in an emergency. If you have additional questions, please visit help.livesafemobile.com.
