Provide information on possible warning signs of suicidal thoughts or attempts, especially with virtual learning.

PROTECT YOUR COMMUNITY WITH LIVESAFE
- Include mental health points of contact and supporting information in the “Resources” section of LiveSafe, making this information available to students and faculty even while away from campus. See the Notes section of the “4 Ways to Use LiveSafe for Mental Health Awareness” handout for examples of important national resources.
- Train Dashboard Administrators to respond to mental health tips. Set protocols and procedures for notification and escalation in the event of an emergency.
- Check in with your community regularly via broadcast messages to let your community know they are not alone. Provide direct links to resources in these messages. Reminder: broadcasts can be sent via the LiveSafe app, text message, or email.
- Encourage school leaders and faculty to check in with their students to make sure everyone is taking care of their physical and mental well-being and are aware of resources available to them.
